Terms of Use

The rules for using the platform: accounts, plans, limits, responsibilities and how these terms change.

Purpose of these terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of METAQUANTICS, a geospatial intelligence platform that brings together, in maps, dashboards and analysis tools, data from public and third-party sources: events, weather, infrastructure, markets, forecasts and indicators for countries and regions.

They apply to every screen of the site, to the administration panel, to the API and to any other means of access the platform offers. Supplementary documents, which form part of these terms, are in the legal center.

Acceptance

By creating an account, accepting an invitation or simply using the platform, you state that you have read and agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use the platform on behalf of a company or other organization, you state that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

Accounts and access

Part of the platform can be viewed without signing in. Features tied to a person, such as the Store library, your own AI quota, the modules of your plan and the Your account page, require signing in.

  • Sign-up: on the public sign-up form you provide a name, an email address and a password of at least 10 characters. The account starts as pending and can only sign in after the administration approves it.
  • Invitation: the administration can invite a person directly. The invitation contains a single-use link, valid for 7 days, to set the password.
  • Administration: the platform is operated by a main administrator (master admin), who approves, rejects or suspends accounts, sets the plan of each one, issues API keys and can end open sessions.
StateWhat it means
PendingSign-up received and awaiting review. Signing in is not yet possible.
ApprovedAccess granted according to the account plan.
RejectedThe sign-up was not accepted. Signing in is not possible.
SuspendedAccess blocked by the administration (see the Suspension and termination section).
Possible states of an account.

You are responsible for keeping your password secret, for providing truthful information and for everything done with your account. Notify the administration if you suspect misuse. The account is personal: do not share it.

Plans, modules and Store

Each account has a plan: Free, Enthusiast, Analyst or Strategist. The plan defines which platform modules are available (for example Map, Console, OSINT, Markets, Forecast, Simulation, Local and Chat) and how many AI calls per day the account can make. Anyone using the platform without signing in is treated as the Free plan.

The administration can change what each plan includes and move an account to another plan. The matrix in force is applied automatically by the platform: a module outside the plan does not open, and AI calls above the daily quota are refused until the next day.

In the data Store, free sources can be installed and removed freely. Paid sources and packages create an order; the item is only released to your library after the administration records the payment for that order. Price, billing period (monthly, yearly or one-time) and coverage of each item are shown on its own Store page.

Permitted use

You may use the platform to look up, analyze and follow information for lawful personal or professional purposes, in compliance with these terms, the applicable law and the licenses of the data sources.

Among other conduct, you may not:

  • try to bypass authentication, plans, quotas, request limits or Store locks;
  • overload the platform or the sources it queries, for example with automated scraping outside the API;
  • use the OSINT tools to stalk, expose or discriminate against people, or to attack third-party systems;
  • resell or redistribute access, the account or API keys without authorization.

The full list is in the Acceptable Use Policy.

Intellectual property

The METAQUANTICS brand, the software, the screen design, its own texts and the data compositions made by the platform belong to their owners and are protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and revocable license to use the service; they do not transfer any right over the platform.

The content you create on the platform, such as settings, scenarios and queries, remains yours. You authorize the platform to store and process it only to provide the service to you.

Third-party data and attribution

Most of the data shown comes from external sources, such as public bodies, international agencies and open projects. That data remains under the license of whoever publishes it (for example public domain, CC0, CC BY or ODbL), and the platform does not become its owner.

When reusing data obtained here, including through the API, you must comply with the license of each source, which usually includes citing the origin. The list of sources, their licenses and the required attribution text are in Data licences and attribution.

The platform does not endorse the sources and is not endorsed by them. The presence of a piece of data does not mean that the source approved the use the platform or you make of it.

Availability and live data

The service is provided as is and as available. We do our best to keep it online, but we do not guarantee continuous, error-free or uninterrupted operation, including during maintenance.

Data comes from public sources that may be delayed, change format, correct values already published or go offline. When a source does not respond, the corresponding panel shows SOURCE DOWN; when the source responds with no data, it shows EMPTY. The platform does not present an old copy as if it were live data: without a connection, panels show that the source is down instead of displaying stored data.

Check before acting

Times, positions, counts and values shown may lag behind the real world. For decisions involving people’s safety, operations or money, confirm the information with the official source.

Limitation of liability

Not financial or investment advice

The Markets, Forecast and Simulation modules are for information only. Quotes, prediction-market probabilities and simulation results are not a recommendation to buy, sell, bet or invest, nor a guarantee of any future outcome.

Answers, summaries and analyses produced by artificial intelligence features may contain errors or omissions and must be checked before any use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform is not liable for decisions made based on the information shown, for losses resulting from delay, error or unavailability of third-party sources, or for indirect damages or loss of profits. Nothing in these terms excludes rights guaranteed by law that cannot be waived, including consumer rights.

API and access keys

When the public API is enabled, access uses a key issued by the administration, with defined scopes (data and metadata). The key is sent in the Authorization: Bearer or X-API-Key header.

  • the key is secret and your responsibility: do not publish it in open source code, pages or repositories;
  • the administration can revoke a key at any time, for example in case of leak or abuse;
  • responses state the license of each item; reuse must respect those licenses and the required attribution.

Suspension and termination

The administration may suspend an account, revoke API keys and end open sessions in case of breach of these terms or of the Acceptable Use Policy, risk to the security of the platform or of third parties, or legal requirement. Whenever possible and permitted, you will be told the reason.

You can stop using the service at any time. On the Your account page you can download a copy of the account data and delete the account permanently, confirming with your password, under Brazil’s LGPD (Law 13,709/2018). Details on data processing are in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in the platform, in the data sources or in the law. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. Relevant changes will be announced on the platform itself. Continuing to use the service after the update means accepting the new version.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, including the General Personal Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018).
